The Promise of the Father

“And [behold] I am sending the promise of my Father upon you; but stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” – Luke 24:49

The apostles and the first Christians allowed their entire ministry to be guided by the power of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to walk in that same power. In this webinar, we’re going to be looking at the work of the Holy Spirit in Scripture and discussing how we can walk in that same intimate relationship. Tune in to prepare for the celebration of Pentecost in a special way this year!

Called to Communion

Just as God, the Most Holy Trinity, is a community of love in His very being, we are also called to participate in this community and to embody this in our own lives.

On May 31, we’ll be having a practical and dynamic discussion on the Trinitarian life. To learn more about how this applies to you and your life, join us!

Accompanying Teens On Their Spiritual Journey

Pope Francis challenges us in ‘Evangelii Gaudium’ with the words: “The Church will have to initiate everyone—priests, religious and laity—into this ‘art of accompaniment’ which teaches us to remove our sandals before the sacred ground of the other. The pace of this accompaniment must be steady and reassuring, reflecting our closeness and our compassionate gaze which also heals, liberates and encourages growth in the Christian life.”

Youth ministers have a very special role in this “art of accompaniment.” In this webinar, join John Beaulieu and his guests as they share about how you can walk more closely with the teens you serve on their faith journeys.

Into the Desert – Journey with Jesus This Lent

Recording coming soon!

Our Lenten journey should draw us into deeper communion with Jesus. Our sacrifices and prayers are not just actions that we do to be able to check off a list that we are “Good Catholics.” We empty ourselves and sacrifice so that we can be more filled with the Holy Spirit and the love of Jesus. We fast so that we can die to ourselves so that we can live for Christ.

To be able to make the most out of our Lent, we need to let Jesus lead us. He knows what we need to sacrifice in order to grow in faith, love, and holiness. He can lead us to a place where we can find the grace we need. For Christ, that was the desert. Are we willing to go into the desert with Christ – to go to the place He is and HE may want to lead us even if it makes us uncomfortable?

Join Fr. Matt Williams and John Beaulieu as they discuss what it means to follow Jesus into the desert and into a fruitful Lent. The discussion will be challenging and practical as they offer insights as to how you can have your best Lent ever.

Love Is Stronger Than Death – Overcoming Obstacles through Christ’s Love

Recording coming soon!

Jesus never promised us an easy life; He only promised that He would never leave us. When the storms of life rage around us or we are burdened with sadness, loss, or pain, it can be easy to lose the sense of God’s presence. But God does not want us to be defeated. He does not want us to experience despair. He wants us to overcome – and to have peace and hope in the midst of the struggle.

Come join us as we explore the wisdom of Scripture and the saints to discover how we can also find victory and joy through Christ’s love – even in the midst of life’s deepest challenges.

Steubenville Conferences and the Spiritual Legacy of Fr. Michael Scanlan, TOR

Recording coming soon!

In 1975, moved by the Holy Spirit and his desire to see his fellow priests deepen their faith and love for the Lord, Fr. Michael Scanlan, TOR, hosted the first conference for priests at Franciscan University. These men were so touched by their experience they asked Fr. Mike to host a conference for young people the next summer. His faith and trust in Jesus unleashed a wave of grace that is sweeping the world.

This past January, Fr. Michael went home to receive his eternal reward. While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate his legacy. This summer, 63,000 youth and adults will be guests at one of our 30 summer conferences. You are invited to join this webinar where we will discuss the ongoing legacy of Fr. Mike and how we are called to take bold steps to advance God’s kingdom. It will be blessed. Don’t miss it!
